no class rank at my school</p>

-2004 Jr. Lightning Class Association North American Champion
-2002 Copa del Pacifica in Salinas, Ecuador
-received letter of recognition from Ecuadorian Olympic Comittee for competing in this regatta.
-Appointed Jr. commodore at my yacht club since 2001</p>

-interviewed world renowned Terrence Blanchard (I had to fight hard for this interview)
-Opinion Editor in 2005</p>

-selected by a local attourney/writer to help him scan various publications concerning foreign affairs of Asian Countries (especially China)</p>

<p>I know my stats may not be too great, but I feel that my North American sailing title and ECs may do me well. Let me know. I have already been rejected from Columbia(my application was very shaky).</p>

<p>do you have SAT IIs?
if you don’t get 600- on SAT IIs, i think you are fine with 1300, but motivation for higher score is always good :)</p>

<p>Also, Sailing is a varsity sport at Dartmouth. Do you think this will have any pull in admissions. I have just sent in the recruitment form with a resume, all my articles, and certificates.</p>

APs: BC Calculus 5, Macro and Micro Econ 5 on both, 5 on both histories, 4 on gov’t and english lit
Unweigted gpa: 3.95
Ecs: two varsity sports (baseball and soccer, captain of the soccer team)
Big Brothers/Big Sisters, founder of Athletes With a Heart
Vice-president of student council</p>

<p>you know, if you really want to get in, then definately have as many ecs as possible, i think that helps out a lot…i think it would’ve helped if i had a few more ecs myself</p>
