The only thing about the recs…I’ve heard counselors say that you could have the pope write you a rec but if he didn’t teach you calculus or something then it holds no weight. I know this doesn’t seem fair but they like teacher recs.

I have 4 teacher recs- all very good. The published poet is my literature teacher. The only rec that is not from a teacher is the county executive

I heard that nd wants you to stick to one rec. letter. They said when I went there they prefer only one. No matter how many you send they’ll still read them, but they said they would believe who ever wrote the first one was. They also said they want teacher recs. not really other people like sports coaches, etc. I don’t know whether it really matters or not, but 5 rec. letters seems like a lot, especially after what they said when I visited. Good luck though.

yea they specifically bold “ONE” in their website about the teacher recs. Its a real shame that I didn’t ask the one teacher that apparently is writing an excellent recommendation for me. But good luck!!!~

fortunately, my counselor told me that all of my recs are very flattering. So if they only read one, I won’t mind.
