I’d say you’re in easily. Maybe even Morehead material if you’re decent at your sports.

did you take the SAT?

does she need to take the SAT?
a 33 is equivalent to about 2190.

i wouldnt say you’re in EASILY, because out of state is crazy hard, and even people with great scores sometimes get rejected from unc. but i do think you have a really good shot. i also got a 33 on ACT, with similar other stats, and i got in but no merit money. your ECs seem pretty solid, so just write a fantastic essay

not necessary, but no harm in it either-- i would say you have a good chance–but make sure the essay is good good–it could make the difference, especially with the out of state competition being so tough and more and more applicants applying every year. In fact, Carolina received a record number of applications for undergraduate admission this year.
