I am a caucasian jew. My high school is ranked academically 107th out of all public schools in the nation. As you probably can see, I am really interested in the sport management field. I live in Maryland and I want to go to school in the Midwest. I am applying regular decision to all of these schools. However, I am applying to all of them by December 15th (I am applying to my top choices earlier though). PLEASE let me know my status for these schools. Thank you.

well I guess Im the right parent to answer you since S is a Sports Management major at USC.
We researched many of the schools you are looking at. Be aware that Wisconsins SM major is not housed on their main campus, its on two smaller campuses.S didnt apply there just for that reason.
Ohio is competitive admit to the SM program. You must complete a certain # of prescribed pre admit classes with grades of 2.5 to gain admitance to the major. Its a well respected program.
S didnt consider Minnesota so besides knowing it runs about the same as OU’s (admit after 60 credits) we’re not familiar with it or its reputation
Indiana has a well respected SM program.S didnt apply b/c he wanted a bigger D1 sports atmosphere in sports other than basketball.
You can get the stats on any of the colleges websites to see where your SAT score compares to the middle 50% of admissions.Be aware most schools use only the CR and Math score.Have you taken the ACT?
U Delaware we researched but couldnt get a handle on its SM program,at all.He didnt apply.People love it there thogh.
Not familiar with any of your other choices.S also looked at U Conn (was impressed but didnt apply),UMass (the #1 SM program in the US but very competitive for admittance to it),UMiami,UFlorida, and UMichigan.
I hope you played up your sports related experiences on your apps, especially your management type roles on teams.
Best of luck with your apps…its a great major to persue!
S loves his dept at USC.If you get a chance to visit, you cn set up a meeting with a prof in the dept.
