Chances

Wtvr. I just thought it might be fun.

ACT: 32
SAT II: 800 (USH), taking Lit and Math in Dec
GPA: 3.9-ish (depending on whether or not you include religious grades)
Location: Suburban Midwest
School: Very small, private, pretty much nobody goes to Ivies; most go to religious college or state school (which is actually a very good school, so the best students usually end up going to the state school)
Course-load: Most challenging
Rank: We don’t rank
EC’s: Art, Student Govt, Religious Orgs, Community Service, Writing, Some random ones like Stock Market, Model UN, etc. (a few leadership positions and a few awards)
Some important info: School is very small, limited; EC’s VERY few (like 4); days end 5:30 twice a week
Teacher recs: I’m pretty sure they will be glowing
Essay: workin on it

So?

academics look pretty good but because Penn probably isn’t familiar with your school, and therefore doesn’t know how challenging even the “most challenging corse load” is, you’re going need to have some really fantastic essays

should i contact my regional rep to see if he/she is familiar with my school and ask if i can provide any info? my gc sends a school profile and curriculum, shouldn’t that be enough?

that should do it

it also depends if you are from an area which a lot of people apply from, geographic diversity is important to Penn.
