chances!

<p>hey everyone,</p>

<p>I applied August 1st and my application was complete August 13th…but my online status has still not changed! i’m getting nervous.</p>

<p>what do you think my chances are?
SATs cr-620, m-620, w-630
GPA- when i first applied it was a 3.38, but my counselor sent an updated transcript from this quarter and my cum is 3.45.
i wrote a pretty good short essay for the application. i have average ec’s, captain of my tennis team, volunteer work, etc.</p>

<p>i applied to the college of health and human development for speech pathology. </p>

<p>i also checked that i would do summer if necessary. what do you think my chances of admission are? do you think that not hearing means that they are still considering me or not nessesarily? anything i can do to improve my chances at this point? any advice would be helpful thanks!</p>

<p>I don’t think they will look at your first quarter grades. I think you have a decent chance of being admitted if you have a rigorous courseload.</p>

<p>they take the highest and lowest first then work their way to the middle. i think that if you did not hear it is def not bad news. they prob skimmed ur file and decided they will re-evaluate when they know more about the applicant pool for this year. slugger is right, they prob wont look at ur first quarter grades, but i think with the GPA you have you def. have a shot at summer (maybe not fall, depending on the applicant pool once again). good luck!</p>
