Chances?

Right, i was thinking of applying to Cornell and some other colleges. What would be my chances of being accepted?

Age:17(when applying)
School:Private
SAT: did it yesterday, expecting 700s in everything.
Nationality: Irish
Born: Argentina (lived there for 10 years)
Average: A(85+)
Languages: English and Spanish perfectly, learning German in school.
Sports: Rugby since im 8. Have won around 5 or 6 tournaments with my club and reached the Munster (state) finals with the school. I coached this years school team and we got to the finals as well.

Ive gone to CTYI (center for talented youth of ireland) Summer programs for the last 3 summers. Had to sit the SAT to get in (did this when i was 13 and got something like 540 in Math and 510 in Verbal or viceversa).

Ive carried out reaserch on DNA for a project im working on in an irish university with one of the university lecturers and PhD students. Will work this summer as a lab assistant there.

I did my Junior cert (Its halfway through secondary school and decides what classes you get into) and got 10A’s and a B in german. Only 120 kids of the 65000 who sat the test got what i got or better.

Lived in argentina for over 10 years and have traveled pretty much all over the world. Ive gotten to know many cultures and the variety in the world.

Have to be in the top 10% of my year, if not more. Im in top honours everything.

Depends on which college at Cornell and how good of a fit you are in addition to the above.

you sound pretty wealthy. i would be shocked if cornell said no to your tuition money
