Is Northwestern Reach/Target?
I want to major in Economics (I’m very interested in the subject)
What about MMSS and the Kellogg program? do I have a shot of getting accepted? Thanks :)

I would say that you’re on the right track. It would be nice if you had more AP scores, but that shouldn’t be too big of a deal. Your GPA could be a little higher, but your other stats seem on target. You also have a very well rounded extracurriculars.

Long story short, I think you have a good shot at it and you should definitely apply.

Regarding MMSS, make sure you apply for the program. It is much easier to get into MMSS as an incoming freshman. I’m not sure which Kellogg program you are referring to, but if it is the Kellogg certificate, I’m not sure if you can apply for that as an incoming freshman.

The Kellogg certificate is not determined by your HS stuff, but if you’re in MMSS, it’ll probably get you there. If you’re referring to the extremely rare pre-admit into Kellogg, I’m just going to say flatly you’re not going to get it.

I disagree with Jon- I’d say your GPA is fine, but that your scores are on the low side.

It’s a low reach/ target for you, so don’t sweat it too much. If you applied ED I’d think you’d get in.

I think that you can definitely get in. You do not have to ED at all. Your stats are good enough to get in for regular admission. I would say that your test scores are right at the middle 50, but other aspects of your resume are much higher. So I think you can get in, good luck!
