-will probably not qualify for financial aid
-don’t know if it matters, but my cousin went here
-my gpa will be at least 3.5 (up to 3.68) by next fall, if I continue to average all As and 1 B or all As and 2 Bs

Forgot to mention-
preferred major is biomedical engineering (will apply as somethin else if it’s easier)

Info you provide is a little scant (ECs?), but Duke looks like a huge reach for you unless you go to an extremely competitive high school and excel at something outside of school.

Devote your summer to something cool and enterprising that ties into why you want Duke. And don’t get Bs.

My high school is supposedly ranked in the top 10 in Philadelphia (although my personal experience with it makes me wonder sometimes). The only extracurric I’ve done in high school is football, which was essentially 9-16 hours per week all year. Just curious, are you a student at Duke?

i’m guessing you’re a junior so you still have time. do A LOT of SAT prep if Duke is where you wanna go. it’s really critical. good strength of schedule. keep it up.
