Are you interested in playing football for USC? What major are you interested in?

Yeah of course I’d love to play. But I mean, I’m good, but USC is probably way out of my league. And my major is gerontology.

It’s funny- I remember the first tour I took with my son several years ago. As we passed the Gerontology building, the tour guide pointed it out and mentioned that admission to USC really does vary based on your major. He suggested that Davis School of Gerontology might be a little easier to be admitted to because the demand for that major is not as high as some others at USC.

He was probably just joking but I figured I’d tell you that to give you hope. Good luck.

(Sorry to anyone in Gerontology! It’s a very admirable career choice. Most of us will be old someday- me sooner than others.)
