Hi!

I was wonder if anyone had received an acceptance letter with stats similiar to mine.

SAT: 1160
Math:640
Reading:520

Core GPA: 3.86 W

6 total AP classes

And I turned in my application sometime on Janurary.

I was accepted with a 3.83 W GPA, 6 AP courses, and a 32 on the ACT. Your test scores seem to be why you weren’t accepted already, but you still seem to be a very competitive applicant!

Like a 3.69. But UGA only looks at weighted.

ya i couldnt see how you wouldnt get in haha. im still waiting to hear back my gpa is lower than yours but my sat is a 1280

how did you calculate your weighted GPA

1280 is definitely fine… mine was only 1260, but I got accepted ha

ilyssa1257: A’s would count as 5 point then B’s would count as 4 point. This only apply toward AP …

UGA calculates your GPA with .5 added to all AP classes. so, what would ur GPA be with that?

Probly lower than a 3.86…probly somewhere between a 3.7-3.80 maybe…

it could go either way…UGA is kinda weird, it just depends on your essays and Teacher REcs

Your GPA is in the middle 50%
Your test scores are on somewhere between bottom 25%-35%, still in the middle 50% probably
Your AP classes amount are in the middle 50%.Any honors?
What are your EC’s?That may be the determining factor.
