<p>How can the chance that somebody gets into an Ivy or other prestigious university (such as Stanford and Caltech) be guaranteed? Hypothetically!</p>
<p>nothing is ever guaranteed… that’s why people always say “you have a good chance, but its a reach for everyone” :/</p>
<p>Like Scrivener said, nothing is EVER guaranteed. History has shown that there has been dozens of well qualified applicants (97+ GPA, 2200 SAT) who still got rejected. With Ivies you can’t really tell someone they have a good chance. One just has to have luck and just has to hope what that particular Ivy is looking for that year, that applicant has.</p>
