Are you allowed to resubmit essays after ED, or not? If deferred, of course.

No, but you can (and should) write a letter indicating that you are still interested in attending, and I suppose you could make that letter “essay like.” And you can submit other information if it’s new – if you win an award in December, for example. I suppose if you want to rewrite your essays and mail them in you can, but you can’t submit another common app or supplement.

thanks! but wait, you can rewrite and mail them? That means you can make changes right?

You can do anything you want. That doesn’t guarantee that the admissions office will read them and consider them, so it could be a waste of time. People mail in chocolate chip cookies, but that doesn’t mean they get accepted.

okay, that answers my questions. Lol, I understand what your saying-what I rather meant was that when you get reevaluated-is there any sort of provision in admissions office that allows this/ never mind though and thanks!
