At my school, generally there is no downside to not taking AP tests. I know some schools take the weight off of the class or other things. The biggest thing that can happen here is having to take a final if you don’t already fall under senior exemption (straight A’s and a permission slip if you’re still under 18).

However, one class, AP Biology, is a little different. The teacher also changes the name of the course from AP Biology II to Honors Biology II on our transcripts.

I’ve already been accepted early decision to school where I would not get credit for the test, so finding the money to take it is absolutely not an option.

Will the fact that one of my courses has “changed” affect my acceptance?
