So I was accepted into UPitt honors in October for biological sciences, but after taking Anatomy Physiology this year and Neuroscience last year, I am hoping to change my major to Neuroscience. Do you guys know if I can do that before I enter the university or do I have to start school?
Also, do you know if Pitt has an international affairs minor? Im really interested in it, but i also want to be a doctor, so i was thinking of minoring. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks!
Biology and Neuroscience are part of the same school (school of arts and sciences) so you can easily switch
You will have the opportunity to speak with your academic advisor at PittStart (mandatory academic orientation) this summer, so just be sure to tell them that you are interested in neuroscience and they will work with you.
We do not offer a minor in international affairs, but our University Center for International Studies does offer certificates programs in African Studies, Asian Studies, European Union Studies, Global Studies, Latin American Studies, Russian and East European Studies, and West European Studies. You can find out more about these programs here: http://www.ucis.pitt.edu/main/programs
