Change major: physics to mechanical engineering

<p>I am admitted with physics major in College of Letters and Science for class of 2013, but now I’m considering to change to mechanical engineering. Is it possible for freshman to change major from college of letters and science to HSSEAS?</p>

<p>Just change it at the orientation…
but for engineering majors…they might have some requirments and some of the majors (not sure which) you only can apply during Junior year…</p>

<p>Since you have not taken any courses yet, just go to the admissions or the registrar’s office and switch. I am glad you are making the move. What is the difference between Science and Engineering? Do you know what Albert Einstein said?
Science is the study of things that already exist
Engineering is the creation of things that never were</p>

<p>Now that this is two years later, how are you finding engineering? Have you taken relevant classes yet? How do you like them? What is your impression of Engineering now?</p>
