First figure out if your spending the right amount of time on each subject. Sometimes we think were spending a ton of time on each subject, but in fact people can get distracted by other things like Email/Social Networking sites and make the time seem you spent studying “seem” longer than how much you really spent.

If you are spending enough time on each subject, you might not be learning the material correctly. Physics requires doing an immense amount of practice problems, and you don’t memorize anything, just practice applying the formulas that you learn, for example.

Everybody has to adjust from HS requirements to UG requirements and from UG to Medical School requirments. So, keep in mind that you are not the only one who “found some difficulties”, EVERYBODY did. The EVERYBODY includes valedictorians from rigorous private HS and those who graduated at the top of their pre-med class and just started Medical school. People who did not make adjustment will fall off the wagon. Did you make adjustment upwards in your studying habits? They are required even for those who never had a single B in their lives.

I think you will need tutoring, learn how to time management and go to professor’s or TA’s office hours more often. if offered. Professor’s office hours are the most important part to attend if offered. In my days, the weed out class was a two 4 credit course offered in the second year and after the first quiz, everyone was thinking of dropping the class because no one got a grade over D and the professor was not curving. Then the professor announced he will provide office hours one hour prior to the class and one hour after the class. I attended every one of his hours and worked very hard for the class. Half of the class dropped off and for those who diligently attended the office hours all passed the class with flying color. I ended the class year with both As.
