Changes in Fall, 2018 In-State NM Package

For the second time in history, the University of Oklahoma ranks No. 1 in the nation in enrollment of freshman National Merit Scholars, with 279 scholars enrolled in the fall 2016 class. OU outranked all public and private universities this year

Those numbers will fall, certainly. It is interesting to wonder whether they are attempting to find the equilibrium line balancing lowest cost while still maintaining the #1 (public) National Scholar enrollment spot.
