<p>Where does one go to change one’s driver’s license to Illinois’? I won’t have a car. I checked on Google Maps and see no DMV at Evanston. Should I take the train and go to Chicago to do this? Thanks.</p>

<p>I won’t have an out-of-state address to use when I move to Illinois. The address on my current driver’s license will not be valid when I move to Illinois.</p>
<p>Just go to the DMV, there is one in Deerfield and one in Niles which are fairly close to Evanston. You will probably be required to take the Driving test and don’t forget to bring any other necessary documents.</p>
<p>When you say driving test, do you mean the written computer test or do you mean the road test? I am already driving with an out-state license. Thanks.</p>
