<p>If I change to single in fafsa right now, instead of married (I recently got married in sept) would they trip out? The reason I ask is because we filed separate tax returns as two single folk, so technically the state counted us as not married last year. I want more financial aid money from UCLA, that’s the reason I ask. Let me know.</p>
<p>i don’t think FAFSA would trip out, because you filed as single…your documentation backs up your change, so it should be no problem.</p>
