<p>When can i change my major?? I’m in SOAA right now and want to be a History major instead?? I’m going to be a freshmen in the fall.</p>
<p>It won’t be an issue. Switching into CL&S is easy and I think just requires some sort of petition - at least I’m under this impression from the processes involving transferring between colleges at UCLA. CL&S does not require the sort of screening or application process that HSSEAS, SOAA, TFT, et al. require.</p>
<p>You don’t need to immediately change your major… you can take the lower-division/pre-reqs first. To answer your question though - just take a trip to Floor 6 of Bunche and talk to one of the counselors and/or Paul Pedilla about the process. You’ll start off as Pre-History until you finish a few survey courses and a seminar course. I hope that helps!</p>
