<p>Is it true that other majors such as the non impacted ones are easier to get into with lower GPA’s? </p>

<p>Say I apply to UCI under anthropology, will I have a higher chance of getting in if I applied under business economics/economics? After I apply, would I be able to change my anthropology major to the business econ/econ major since they’re both under the school of Social Sciences?</p>

<p>Yes, that’s true. UCI does look at completion of pre-reqs so you should pick a major where you think you’ll be able to finish the most pre-reqs. Also, I’m pretty sure that anthro is easier to get into than Bus Econ…</p>
