Changing majors

Is it hard to change majors in CMU? Would I have any chance of changing majors If I decided to change from Statistics or psychology(H&SS) to Math or biology (MCS)?

Not very hard to switch to MCS.

I read online that CMU annually accepts only about 20 students for the dual major program. Is it that hard to get in?

By the way, if anyone cares, im applying as transfer to bsa–cfa and mcs.

Where did you read this

Many students do not pursue a dual degree or switch majors often.

Talk to your advisor and they will give you more information on BSA.

“The programs allow up to 20 freshmen students each year. Over half of the students enter the programs as internal transfer candidates. Internal transfer
students have the same admission requirements as incoming freshmen.”

hey acceptedcollegealready, are you hs or college student?

College.

And like i said, 2, many students don’t switch into MCS and if there is such a limit, you can still double major in that school as a bio/whatever major.
