<p>I think it will depend on the reason for the transfer.<br>
Parent's job change or similar factors out of your control are a neutral.<br>
A student who switches schools seeking more academic challenge is a positive.<br>
Flaky student who switches schools without a good reason...something for a college to be leery about.</p>
<p>^exactly. If it is out of your control they most certainly will not hold it against you.</p>
