Changing to MCB

Is it easy to change any type of major as long as its within the college of L&S? For example, I thought changing from Public Health to MCB would be hard because MCB is a very popular major.

it's not hard at all.....esp for you, considering you're a L&S undeclared by default anyway. But even as a Junior Psych major, declaring MCB is easy. Just fulfill the pre-reqs.

Well, I wouldn't say that. Some of the L&S majors are impacted, meaning that it is quite difficult to switch into them. I.e. Economics.

switching into MCB = very easy
switching into econ= i have absolutely no idea

MCB not impacted

Consider this quote about Economics:

"The average GPA in prerequisite courses for students admitted to the major in recent years has been a 3.4. The economics major is impacted and to be considered for admission students should have a minimum of a 3.0 in the prerequisite courses. Students with a GPA of less than a 3.0 are typically not admitted. "
