Chapman for fall or UCI for spring?

I missed the UCI application deadline but I got accepted into chapman. I wanna study bio and chem for pediatrics. should I go to chapman and then transfer or wait a semester and then go to UCI?

Are you a Freshman or a Transfer?

Based on your other threads, you are a in-coming Freshman. UCI does not accept lower division transfers. You need 60 semester/90 quarter units to apply for transfer along with all the course requirements. I would embrace your chance to attend Chapman and make no plans to transfer unless you feel Chapman cannot meet all your academic/financial and social needs.

Honestly, Chapman is still a great school. Even if you were admitted into UCI, I would still recommend chapman because of their smaller class sizes, etc. That being said, if cost is a consideration, chapman will be more expensive if you don’t receive any scholarships.

I am eligible for a lot of scholarships from both. I’d probably only need to pay $7000 a year for both.
