Rumsfeld calls the Iranian leader (rightly) terrorists, but we still buy their oil. Until we have some other source of energy, we’re dependent on a lot of people we don’t like very much and who don’t like us even more.</p>

<p>I may have been overreaching - but Chavez has become a dictator and is hurting his own people. He has become an avowed enemy of the United States - selling us oil as we also buy it because it benefits both sides. The oil sales are purely commercial.
