<p>Hey just wondering if it’s worth taking this class freshmen year for ChE’s. I know it’s not required for graduation, but does it provide valuable information or does it just pile on to an already rigorous workload?</p>

<p>It is pass/fail. It is more of an informative class about being a ChE major. Not hard at all. It is taught by the department chair</p>

<p>It is taught by the department chair (good chance to get to know him), lots of information on ChE as a major and as a career. Very little work load (like almost none). Why not take it? Each discipline has a similar course and they strongly advise taking it.</p>
