CHE Major v. Gov. CAS Major?

I’m looking at International Relations/Government/Policy study in college, and I’m looking at either CHE or CAS as my top college to apply to. I’m leaning towards CHE but could anyone lend some advice on what exactly CHE students study/do?

yooooo anyone?

If you want IR/Gov’t/Policy, it seems that CAS is your best bet. I think the Policy Analysis and Management (PAM) major is in CHE, and I can’t really speak that much about that major, but my impression is that it’s less political science-y than the Gov’t major in CAS, and definitely less so than the IR minor in CAS (I don’t think you can get anything similar to IR in any other college).

FYI, if you choose one college and later decide you want to be in another, it’s really easy to internally transfer once you’re a student.

Thank you! That is really helpful! One more thing: If you could describe the CHE school in a couple words, how would you?

There are some really diverse majors in the CHE so you can’t really use a few words to sum up the entire college.
