<p>For Southern LACs with good merit aid, check out Rhodes, Wofford, Stetson, and Birminghman-Southern. Univ of Richmond, Sewanee, Hendrix, Southwestern, Trinity (TX), and Centre might be worth a look. </p>

<p>For Birmingham-Southern, you would automatically receive at least $27K/yr in merit aid: <a href=“Types of Aid Available”>http://www.bsc.edu/admission/scholarships.cfm&lt;/a&gt;. At Stetson, you would likely receive about $33K/year in merit aid. This puts the cost for tuition, fees, and room/board at these two colleges at about 16-18K for your first year.</p>
