<p>Are there any good, cheap schools in or near Pennsylvania, besides a state university? I’m thinking something similar to Grove City College, besides it’s strict policies.</p>

<p>PA state schools range from 1500 undergrads to 42,000. What exactly are you looking for in a college?</p>
<p>I know that. Besides Penn State, Pitt, and Temple, though, none of them are very strong academically.</p>
<p>Mid-Atlantic private schools with tuition less than $20k:</p>
<p>Gallaudet, Geneva College, Saint Joseph’s, Villa Julie, Wesley, Wells, York College. </p>
<p>If you’re willing to look just slightly further:</p>
<p>Brairwood College, Cambridge College, Newbury College.</p>
