cheapest 4 year?

What is the cheapest 4 year college in the san diego area (or around)?

I would assume San Diego State University, or Cal State San Marcos because they are both state funded, and tuition for state residents is highly subsidized

I just did a quick comparison between college costs between SDSU and UGA (seeing that you will be at a community college near there). Without any financial aid, both schools would cost you about $39,000 per year. These numbers include housing and other essentials, as well as tuition. That said, you may have better chances at financial aid at Georgia than SDSU, as Georgia is a research institution and may be better off financially than the Cal State system. I could be completely wrong on this, however.

I also would look at the University of San Diego. Their tuition is comparable to out-of-state tuition as SDSU, but I have no idea what their financial aid situation is.

If I were you, I would go ahead and apply to each of these colleges and go to whichever gives you the best deal regarding financial aid. If nobody gives you financial aid, however, be ready to walk away. Nobody should have to pay $40K per year for a college education.
