Cheapest school for east asian studies

Hi, im looking for the cheapest school(preferably top 30) with a very good east asian studies program. I will be an OOS candidate at every school. Anything under 40K(tuition + living expenses) I would be interested in.

University of Kansas has a really good East Asian Studies program. KU isn’t a top 30 school, but there East Asian Studies program is nationally recognized as one of the best. They have a phenomenal museum of artifacts too.

http://www2.ku.edu/~ealc/ealc.html

That’s the department’s website

Costs for 15 hours in a semester
Nonresident undergraduate
(15 hours) $6,638.25 $294.50(required fees)

room rates range from $2997 to $4513(single) per year.

Meal plans from $2414 to $3100

So total most expensive options with 30 credit hours a year is 21,500/year.

Plus, having been an instate student that got screwed by KU, I know they give a lot of money to out of state students in forms of scholarships.

Still around $30K.

Temple U. Has a very good Asian Studies program. I know someone who’s in it and he does quite well.

School is ~$18K OOS

here: http://www.temple.edu/asian_studies

University of San Francisco (and yes it’s in the hear of San Franciso)
Center for the Pacific Rim & Asian Studies
http://www.pacificrim.usfca.edu/

School website: http://www.usfca.edu/

The for the Pacific Rim is amazing for a school USF’s size. IF you need a safety, there are few excuses why you didn’t pick USF for east Asian Studies, on top of it being in San Francisco, And do not take in any images of a typical catholic school", a Jesuit school in San Francisco is really extremely open-minded and level-headed (kind of have to be when you are just a few blocks from Castro Street ;))
