I was checking that site like crazy thinking that it would have my decision until the admissions office told my college counselor that they wouldn’t post it online. Maybe that’s just for EA applicants and it’ll be different for RD, not sure though.

blueyed,is “checking like crazy” or “checking crazily” grammatically correct? I am an international student wishing to increase his English. Please help.:)

I’m not sure if it’s grammatically correct, but doing something “like crazy” is an idomatic expression, and therefore alright conversationally. You certainly wouldn’t use it in any formal writing. “Checking it crazily” would be correct as well, although it’s less common.

If you wanted to express the same thing in a correct fashion, you could say “checking compulsively” or “obsessively.”
