So to perform the integral test on series’, the function has to be positive, continuous, and decreasing on 1 to infinity (or w/e). On the AP test, how often do you have to confirm that it’s decreasing? If you’re short on time, is it usually okay to assume that it is and get straight into the improper integral?

It’s not difficult to confirm it’s decreasing, otherwise it diverges anyway, so it would actually waste time if it was divergent and you used the Integral test. Just check, it barely takes time.

Is this BC? I haven’t done integral tests, and I’m in AB.

Its BC, ab has no series

Ok thanks.
