hey so this might seem stupid but here it goes.

for one of my extracurricular recommendations, i had my piano instructor fill it out. and she put her phone number and address at the bottom like usual, but she’s going to be moving out of state soon. so anyways i was just wondering if the admissions officers actaully use that information and will try to call or mail her something.

It it possible that they to contact her, there is no way for you to know if they will. I wouldn’t worry, when people move they leave forwarding addresses and notifications that numbers have changed. If the school wants to talk to her they should be able to get a hold of her.

If you want to be more proactive, go to the instructor and get a forwarding address and/or cell number. Send a note or email to the admissions officer who interviewed you. Explain that the instructor is moving, as of x date, enclosed is the new contact information.
