The course listing on peoplesoft says absolutely nothing about the book, and when I search up the class on the university store, it says masteringchemistry access is required. But I just went to his website (http://chemicaleducation.org/) and he says Chem 0710 (UHC Gen Chem 1) students don’t need masteringchemistry, but he doesn’t have any info on 0760 (he teaches both classes). Can someone please tell me for sure whether or not 0760 students need the access code because that thing is expensive and I’d rather not waste money on something that turns out to be completely unnecessary. Lots of people wait until the first day of class to find out if they need textbooks. They do just fine. If you need it, you can borrow it from a friend or use the library copy temporarily.
