<p>Who would you recommend to take Chem 130 with?</p>
<p>I had Sipowska. No complaints. Yes, she has an accent, but no, it really wasn’t hard to understand her (the people on RMP who write negative reviews about her accent are likely disgruntled freshmen who seek to blame someone for their lackluster performance in the course). </p>
<p>While I never personally went to see her for help, she seemed pretty open to students and encouraged questions-- always seemed like a kind, mentoring type. </p>
<p>I did find lecture pretty boring (most do, IMO-- I find chem quite tolerable, but I still couldn’t really get hooked in class); I went but didn’t get much out of it. Sit in the front and try to pay attention. The weekly homework was great for learning the material.</p>
<p>Final Tip: First exam is easy, second is quite challenging, third is sort of in the middle.</p>
