Chem 142 over the summer

I am a seattle resident who just finished my 1st year at another (oos) school, planning to take this chem course @ UW to complete a req for my major. on the "myUW" website it hasn't yet listed an instructor ? My other concern is about the online homework system (I paid $50 for the card with an access code - but it says the instructor must provide a course code?) does this typically occurr during the first class?

also, for those of you that've taken it - is it challenging? any tips? if anyone has addl experience with UW summer quarter that'd be great as well. thanks!

teachers: yeah I'm taking classes over the summer and my teacher isn't listed either. no sweat, they just don't have one listed yet
homework: i think it will get validated once the quarter starts. wait it out a week until then, not 100% sure about this though
class: i thought it was really easy haha, but the class average is set at a 2.6 (all chem classes are). just study and stay on top of things, it's basically high school chem

Thanks smilee! Do you know whether or not there is lab the first week?

Maybe this will help:

Courses - UW Dept. of Chemistry -

https://catalyst.uw.edu/workspace/chemsm11/22354/137183

Oh that first site is great - is that the same place I'd go as with the Cengage packet thing? So confusing

Are you talking about Webassign? You go here -- https://www.webassign.net/washington/login.html However, I doubt your teacher has it set up yet. It generally doesn't happen until school starts.

I don't think so - I've gone through genchem and there's never been lab on the first week of the quarter. Bio has that - but no other intro series (that I know of, could be wrong!)

awesome thanks. yeah i guess i confused webassign with catalysttools - anyway, it should work itself out. thanks!
