<p>im pretty sure that a lab is required, as well as the lecture and recitation, for comp meth</p>
<p>but for chem im not sure…it would be nice if it didnt have one…a three hour lab class isnt my idea of fun :-/</p>

<p>for chem you are required to take the lecture, the recitation, and the lab.</p>
<p>I think that the only time recitation/lab will ever be optional is if there are two completely different versions of the class, as is the case with Math 32 and Math 32L. You can’t sign up for Math 32L and not sign up for the lab…</p>
<p>Hopefully if you signed up for the EGR 53 lecture, you received one of my e-mails about the fact that EGR 53 recitation and EGR 53 lab are also required. If not - now you know :-D</p>
