<p>The text book used is the second custom edition called Chemistry: A Molecular Approach. However, 130 pages are missing all on reaction rates.Why would they take out reaction rates??? Thats kinda important.</p>

<p>They just don’t cover those chapters in the course at UMD, don’t worry about it. You learn about reaction rates in Chem271 (I’ve taken that, too).</p>
<p>Wow thats weird! My high school chem teacher used reaction rates to help explain equilibrium! I always thought it was something fundamental to teach. Guess I’m ahead of the game. Thank you. Any tips for chem 131?</p>
