someone mentioned earlier in a different thread that scerri uses zumdahl’s, while other profs might use oxtoby’s.

but what i’m confused about is the difference between these two books:

<a href=“http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0618447946/ref=sr_11_1/002-9010202-5524859?ie=UTF8 ”>http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0618447946/ref=sr_11_1/002-9010202-5524859?ie=UTF8 ;
which is ISBN 0618447946

and <a href=“http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0618372067/ref=sr_11_1/002-9010202-5524859?ie=UTF8 ”>http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0618372067/ref=sr_11_1/002-9010202-5524859?ie=UTF8 ;
which is ISBN 0618372067

both are Chemical Principles by Zumdahl, 5th edition

weird…

Publisher: Not Avail; 5th Pkg edition (April 2004)

Publisher: Houghton Mifflin Company; 5th edition (May 10, 2006)

???

yeah, i looked up the ISBN for the book with the “not avail.” publisher, and it’s also houghton mifflin. other than the publication dates, i can’t seem to find any other differences.

p.s. if anybody happens to know the ISBN # of the book sold in the ASUCLA store, that would be really helpful.

isbn 0-618-37206-7
