Hi, I have a question. Do schools look at how you progress with respect to time in your undergraduate studies to criticize your chances of getting admitted besides GRE, GPA, research experiences, etc.? I’m asking this question because before coming to my current university I was a CC student and due to differences in the system I did horribly so bad in the first quarter to the extent they almost put me on AP, but the following 2 quarters I got a 3.4 and then a 3.9 respectively. But, since my first quarter was so badly my overall GPA is currently 3.1. Oh by the way, almost forgot to mention they gave me an extra year so basically im entering a junior year curriculum (due to lack of major classes transferred). Therefore, I was wondering if I do increasingly better, does this progress help me in the graduate admissions at all?
