<p>Can anybody post the 2005 US News Chemical Engineering rankings? Also post the peer assesment number (like the 0-4.9 number that they give). Please post like top 30.</p>

<p>its best not to pay attention to that. theres no way you can know for sure that chemical engineering is ur thing unless youve done extensive research for at least a year. pay attention to overall engineering rankings.</p>

<p>No, I’m gonna be a sophomore at RPI and I’m trying to decide between EE, Chem E, or Aero-Mech E. I just need some more info before I choose, and the rankings is one of them.</p>

<p>ohhh i thought u were like a high school junior or something. then shouldnt u just look at RPI’s rankings? or are you trying to transfer? lol id give you the rankings if i had em.</p>

<p>actually i notice that the best decisions ive made in my life so far (im a soon-to-be HS graduate, so thats not many) have been made based on passion. making decisions like these with pure logic hasnt worked out well for me.</p>

<p>no, the case is that i did freshman year as undeclared engineering (most rpi freshmen are undeclared engineers-as all engineers take mostly the same things), but now i’m gonna be a sophomore and deciding time is coming up, and one of the 4 courses i take next term will be determined by my major, so i need to find out this summer</p>

<p>as far as my major selection goes, EE, chem E and aero mech E seem appealing to me, so i need some other hints to decide</p>

<p>I think the 2005 rankings won’t be coming out till August. I could be wrong.</p>

<p>That is correct. 2005 Undergrad rankings aren’t released until late August.</p>

<p>The 2005 Grad rankings, however, are already released.</p>

<p>RPI wasn’t ranked in the undergrad rankings, but they were in the top 30 for grad.</p>

<p>Which is the best school for chemical engineering- University of Colorado at Boulder, Lafayette College ¶, or Villanova University?</p>

<p>I know UT-Austin’s ChE program is currently in 6th. But its really difficult here. The professors teach something different from the texts and both need to be understood thoroughly.</p>
