<p>When I got the green postcard from BU with the list of placement tests I had to take it mentioned chemistry as well but I didn’t remember that as an option on their site. So, I went to another site that was written on the card <a href=“http://www.bu.edu/placement[/url]”>www.bu.edu/placement</a> and it says that it’s a requirement. Why isn’t this written on the regular orientation site and for people who already went to orientation, did everyone take it or did they not realize that they had to???</p>
<p>Thanks for the heads-up! I didn’t expect there to be any new additions to the site, so I probably wouldn’t have taken it before orientation. I’m also curious to know what people at the first orientation did.</p>
<p>i was at the first orientation, and im an AT major so i have to take chem…they didnt even mention the chem placement test, and everyone got placed into Chem 171, so i dont think its a big deal…no one there said the diagnostic tests were important anyways they just say its a guideline, not definite</p>
