Chemistry - Specialized Curriculum?

Hello there,
I’m wondering if anyone applied to this curriculum and was indicated on their acceptance letter? I applied to it on my application but on the acceptance letter I was accepted to the LAS as a Chemistry major but it didn’t say anything about the specialized curriculum. Does this mean I was not admitted to the specialized curriculum but only to the regular chemistry program?
Thanks guys!

What’s up, what’s up, What is up?
I am currently a Freshman at UIUC in the college of LAS so let me see if I can help you out.

As told to me by my advisor in the Chemical Engineering Department (apart of LAS not engineering)
"our specialized curriculum majors are only different in the sense that they have both liberal arts and science based requirements.

So you still have the same Core Gen Ed requirements, however Geography majors don’t need Biology or Physics or Calc III (all arbitrary examples); where as Specialized Curriculum majors have such technical requirements.

If you have anymore questions PM me or reply or something,
