Chicago EA People

Yes…let’s all revel in the small things :D

Sure thing Quasi :stuck_out_tongue: But you have to watch me sometimes…I admit that I can be sneaky…Shifty eyes Like once, I was playing my mom in Scrabble, and I made up words, then looked them up on urbandictionary.com (Which I told her was a legit dictionary) and won :D

Come on, I bet half the words in today’s dictionary weren’t legit in, like, the 1200s. Urbandictionary words will totally be legit someday, so the forward-thinkers use them now! So: sorry, doesn’t count as cheating. :D

We should have a Scrabble tourney Litlhurry (if we both get in of course), but you won’t be able to sneak words by me, I’ve been doing that with my grandmother for years haha

uh, I love scrabble too, but can someone please answer my question? I’m kinda getting nervous >.<

Sorry syc, I don’t know. :(

Wait…what was the question? O_o I’m easily distracted, sorry v.v

Is it just me, or is no one else choosing essay topic # 3?

It’s a tra- I mean…no, go for it >_>

Well, I personally like the topic. Besides, were I rejected solely for the views I articulated, I would not want to attend Chicago anyway.

It’s not that. It’s just that it’s an essay meant to draw out those “Cliche” essays. Many students write about Martin Luther King, and most people get their facts wrong. Since it mixes in History…you have to have your facts right, or else you’ll look stupid.

And Martin Luther King is very overdone in general. It’ll take all you have to write a good essay for option #3, because in general, it’s very limited even when taking your own opinions into consideration.

But don’t let me stop you. It’s just my own personal opinion.

So you guys think answering the optional question will give me an edge in the admissions process?

Who is not doing the optional question?

I will see if I still have time for the optional…and I’m clearly aware that I’m sounding stupid right now,for I should’ve paced myself EARLIER!!Oh well= =
R u doing the optional,Esplin?

Do the optional if you have time. It’s easier than the other essays because you can write about something you have fun doing.

Should I rant about one thing that I’m especially passionate about, or just briefly mention many different things I enjoy? :[

The one thing would probably be better. I’m doing many different things because I’m already mentioning the one thing in my CommonApp essay.

I’m EAing… Anyone else pick option 4 or is that a tra— as well? haha

option 4 for the win :)…I have one written for 4, but I might end up doing 5 (aka my own)

option 4 was hard to get through, i do have to say…

ok someone let me in on the “tra–” inside joke.

“tra–” is an unfinished “trap”
I wrote on how I was caught. I think its a good essay.

I tried writing on #4, but kept reading the question over and over and over and realized that I couldn’t answer their question with any of my ideas. Oh well. I think the essay I have is really good, and hopefully it’ll get me in! Huzzah!

PS 10 DAYS TIL SUBMISSION DAY.
