My recs should be good, by junior year AP teachers who were excited about writing my recommendations. Essays should be good, as writing is my strong point and I have a highly offbeat way of looking at things.

Chicago is defintely my top choice, but I’d like to know how good of a chance I stand at getting in EA.

I can’t speak to EA, but I can say that your stats are very much like those of one of my children who did, in fact, get admitted. And he’s plain old vanilla Caucasian.

And yes you’ve got pretty solid stats and a good chance. I’m sure you already know this, but Chicago takes their essay prompts seriously and so interesting answers that show your character and desire to attend are going to impact your chances. Good luck.

thank you both for the well wishes. yes im from connecticut, i volunteered for his campaign the summer before my junior year when he was running for the democratic nomination. however, im not sure where to include that, or my other political involvement, in my application.

If you are registered in a Native American tribe, that would help a lot. That’s not to say that you don’t have a good shot anyways (I indeed think you have a good chance regardless of your race).
