No, I’m not talking about the weather. I’m curious as to which college has the most chill students. I’d like to go somewhere where kids are cool, relaxed, and really low-keyed. This doesn’t mean that people don’t work hard, they’re just not highstrung and really cutthroat. Any ideas?

UW-Madison. Everyone knows how to have a good time and the weekend starts on Wednesday. Also a good school academically.

Reed… I would advise against unless you want quirky, hippy, nerdy, “chill.”

I’m not really looking for the pot-smoking, “fight the establishment” type chill. Actually, I’m not really looking at all, since I’m already a senior. I’m just curious as to which schools are like what I described before, with “regular” kids.

Brown is chill.

well, that’s something you’ll have to figure out yourself since your definition of “regular” and “chill” is your own, and each person has their own. Any response on here is someone else’s opinion, which quite surely will not be the same as yours.

dartmouth…

what about any “chill” school that are easier to get into–just under schools like dartmouth and brown.

Vassar and UNC.

wesleyan (maybe more fight the establishment than you want, i dunno)

I definitely agree with slipper about UNC; that perfectly describes the student body. Davidson and Swat are fairly laidback, but you do work hard.

UC Santa Cruz.

Pot-smoking correlates with “chill” wherever you go lol

Any big state school should be chill

Yes, I was going to say:

I guess you’ll have to skip college then!

hahahaha. oberlin and swarthmore too, from what i hear.

No way!! Oberlin is the more "intense “I can’t believe you eat meat” kind of chill, Swarthmore is FAR from Chill.

Dartmouth, brown, UNC, Northwestern are more “I am fun, not judgemental, and totally happy” kind of chill.

obviously
STANFORD

Ohhh yeah dude, let’s kick back with some brewskies and listen to Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews, maaaan. It’ll be chill as hell.
