I performed bad in first 2 semesters but gained 3.88/4.0 in the third year (gained Academic Scholarship and Academic progress scholarship this year)
Overseas exchange semester in Hohenheim, Stuttgart Germany
Independent research projects(sociology/ qualitative research) : 2, one publication under review, one report got selected into an academic forum.
Intern in China Agricultural Science Academy and Women’s union of China
Volunteer… Students’ Union activities…
i would like to work for NGOs later, rn i’m considering Global Development in Cornell but i’m afraid i’m not qualified.

i got support mostly from family, partly from scholarships and internships.

You should look at less selective public state colleges and public state universities. I don’t think that you are going to get merit money from even the less selective private colleges.

Plan to take the SAT or ACT. If you are applying this year, time is really short now, but some less selective public colleges will take applications as late as spring.

Just to clarify, you are working on a bachelor’s degree right now, in the fourth year, and you are applying to US universities for another undergraduate degree?
